The British Army

We have worked with the Army since 2009, striving to transform how military and civilian staff perform by creating positive, inclusive workplaces. Our ongoing programmes are designed for personnel on operations, in barracks and across the contemporary operating environment.

The Royal Navy

Defence Academy of the United Kingdom

Using the distinct objectives provided, we were required to design a bespoke programme to support the workings and teachings of Defence Support, Strategic Command at Shrivenham. This course specifically explored how MOD trainers could manage their classrooms in an inclusive way.

Strategic Command: Defence Intelligence

We designed a roadshow of events to travel around the country. Informed by our detailed research, each set of workshops was tailored to reflect organisation-wide issues, as well as those specific to each location including staff feeling valued, training needs and customer interaction.

Strategic Command: Defence Digital

This training used forum theatre and scenario-based activities to allow delegates to “step into the shoes” of others and experience and understand what they may consider to be normal and acceptable behaviours from another standpoint.

Defence Equipment and Support

Our programme aimed to encourage staff commitment to preventing error, the embedding of and consistent approach to safety, an overall commitment to improvement and the means to undergo fair investigation without persecution.

Submarine Delivery Agency

Over 50 sessions were run across the country. All members of staff were involved in identifying behaviour standards and now recognise their responsibility to act if they experience or witness unacceptable behaviour in the workplace.

Ministry of Defence

92% of delegates affirmed that the event had made them think about their own language and behaviour and 100% fed back that they would recommend the training to a colleague.

Participants described the training as engaging, thought-provoking and informative.

NATO

The aim was to create a trusting work environment that sees the benefit of people talking about acceptable and unacceptable behaviours and language as a positive and important aspect of building a productive, valued workforce.

Defence Academy:

97% Agreed that they are able to identify the impact of unacceptable behaviour and the role of the bystander. 93% Thought the training built their confidence and skills to challenge unacceptable behaviour and language.
